For the golfers, there are several courses to choose from including Lansbrook in the East Lake area and Innisbrook, which is the location for the PGA Tour for the Valspar Championship every March. The Palm Harbor YMCA has everything from a gym to lap pools, a splash pool for the kids and tons of classes to join in on for all ages. There’s ballet and karate for the young toddlers or exercise groups for the young at heart. They even have a Kids zone where they have staff to watch your children ages 6 months up to 10 years old for up to an hour and half while you attend a class or go swimming or work out at the gym.

Besides those activities, there’s fantastic nightlife nearby in St. Petersburg or Tampa. Both are about 30 minutes away and have lots of clubs, bars or beaches to choose from. Speaking of beaches, we have 2 of the Top 10 Beaches rated by Dr. Beach, Clearwater Beach and Honeymoon Island State Park and Beach. These white sand beaches are perfect for locals or visitors alike. Honeymoon Island can get a little busy sometimes so rent a kayak, canoe or paddleboard from the local vendors and paddle your way across the channel to Caladesi Island for your own personal space. If you want to take some things out to the island for the day, take the ferry!
