My Area
Palm Harbor has about 60,000 residents and features some of the best schools in Florida, including Palm Harbor University High School, one of the best in the country! Historic downtown Palm Harbor features many eateries and small shops. Lake Tarpon, a 2,500 acre lake, is shared with Tarpon Springs, which is renowned for its Largemouth Bass fishing as well as water activities like water skiing, jet skiing and kayaking.
Dunedin is a small city of about 37,000 residents and is one of the oldest on the west coast of Florida. It has almost 4 miles of waterfront property in a wooded and subtropical setting. Dunedin has a rich Scottish heritage, so watch out for the St. Patrick’s Day festival! Dunedin is special because besides the friendly natives, it boasts 2 of the best beaches in the country.
Tarpon Springs is an old world village of about 23,000 residents and has a rich Greek influence. In the early 1900’s the Greek sponge divers arrived and the sponge docks were born. Tarpon has managed to stay relatively unchanged since the early 1900’s making it a great sightseeing opportunity for the whole family. If you like Greek and international food then you will love the restaurants in downtown Tarpon and the sponge docks. Also, every second Saturday of each month there is a city wide event with live entertainers and great deals, come join us!
Our best beaches are located in Dunedin and are just minutes from Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs. Caladesi Island State Park was voted America’s #1 beach in 2008 and Honeymoon Island State Park has nature trails and picnicking. Besides these two amazing beaches we are also about 20 minutes from world famous Clearwater beach.
The average temperature in the area is 80 degrees in the summer with a cool breeze from the Gulf. In the winter we average a comfortable 63 degrees. Our rainy season is from June through September with an average yearly rainfall of 45-50 inches with most of it coming in the form of late afternoon summer showers.
Pinellas residents can also enjoy the famous Pinellas Trail, a 34 mile paved trail that is enjoyed by an average of 90,000 people each month and was originally an old abandoned CSX rail road track! No motorized vehicles are allowed on the Trail; however you may jog, ride your bike or walk your pet on it as long as you clean up and keep them on a leash.
I do serve other areas including the entire Pinellas, Pasco & Hillsborough counties!
I hope you enjoy these videos, many more will follow! (You can change the setting to watch them in HD)
